This workshop is designed for gynecologists, including consultants and senior trainees, with a keen interest in pelvic floor reconstruction and urogynecology surgery.
 
The course provides a comprehensive overview of pelvic floor anatomy, patient assessment, and surgical techniques essential for treating pelvic floor disorders.
 
Participants will have the opportunity to observe, learn, and potentially assist in live surgeries, enhancing their practical skills and knowledge in this specialized field.
 
 
Learning Objectives 
 
- Gain an in-depth understanding of pelvic floor anatomy and applied surgical anatomy.
 
- Develop a basic understanding of patient assessment and the interpretation of urodynamic studies.
 
- Learn effective and safe surgical techniques for treating stress urinary incontinence, including Autologous Fascial Sling, Retro-pubic/Trans-obturator Tension-Free Vaginal tapes, Colpo-suspension, and urethral bulking procedures.
 
- Explore surgical approaches for the treatment of uterine, vault, and vaginal wall prolapse, including anterior/posterior repairs, Vaginal Hysterectomy, Vaginal sacrospinous colpopexy/hysteropexy, Abdominal Sacro-colpopexy/hysteropexy, and Colpocleisis.
 
- Observe and potentially assist in live surgery sessions to enhance hands-on learning.
