Course Summary

The 3rd and 4th Degree Perineal Tear Repair Course is an intensive one-day workshop designed to train OB/GYN physicians in the diagnosis and management of severe perineal tears that occur during labor. Unique in Egypt and modeled after similar successful programs in the UK, this course offers a blend of theoretical knowledge and practical hands-on training using animal models (pig tongue and pig anus) to simulate episiotomy and anal sphincter repair techniques.

Participants will learn to accurately identify, assess, and repair complex perineal injuries, ensuring better patient outcomes and reducing complications associated with childbirth.

By the end of this course, participants will have gained comprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience in diagnosing, managing, and repairing 3rd and 4th degree perineal tears, leading to improved patient care and outcomes in obstetric practice.

This course stands out as a unique opportunity in Egypt, providing training on par with established programs in the UK.
